SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY
Verdant Lounge UK
Last updated: 16 October 2026
This Shipping & Delivery Policy applies to orders placed with Verdant Lounge UK, operated by RPV E-COMMERS LTD.
We supply a range of premium outdoor-living products, including garden buildings, pergolas, saunas, ice baths, outdoor kitchens, garden furniture and accessories.
Delivery arrangements vary according to the product, its dimensions, manufacturing requirements and delivery destination.
Please review the delivery information displayed on the relevant product page before placing your order.
1. DELIVERY INFORMATION
Delivery areas, charges, services and estimated timescales may vary between products.
The delivery information shown on the relevant product page and during checkout should be read alongside this policy and our Terms of Service.
Where product-specific delivery information differs from the general information in this policy, the product-specific information disclosed before purchase will apply, subject to statutory rights.
Customers are responsible for checking the delivery arrangements applicable to their order.
2. DELIVERY AREAS
We deliver to addresses accepted during checkout.
Some products are available for delivery throughout mainland Great Britain, while others have restricted delivery areas.
Delivery to Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and islands, the Isle of Man, the Isle of Wight, the Channel Islands or other remote and offshore locations may:
-
Be unavailable for certain products.
-
Require confirmation before ordering.
-
Involve longer delivery times.
-
Incur additional delivery charges.
Applicable restrictions and charges will be communicated before purchase wherever relevant.
If you are uncertain whether delivery is available to your postcode, please contact contact@verdantlounge.co.uk before placing your order.
3. DELIVERY CHARGES
Delivery charges depend on the product, destination, size, weight and delivery service required.
Applicable delivery charges will be displayed or confirmed before the order is completed.
Free delivery applies only where expressly stated on the product page or at checkout and may be restricted to certain products or delivery areas.
Where an additional location surcharge cannot be calculated automatically, we will contact you before accepting the order or obtaining your agreement to the additional charge.
You may decline any additional charge not previously agreed and cancel the affected order for a refund.
4. ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIMES
Delivery timescales vary according to product availability, manufacturing schedules and transport requirements.
Certain products may be available for earlier dispatch, while made-to-order, bespoke and specialist products may have longer lead times, typically 6–8 weeks or as otherwise specified on the relevant product page.
The estimated delivery timeframe applicable to each product will be communicated before purchase and forms part of the agreed delivery arrangements.
Where no different delivery period has been agreed, goods will be delivered without undue delay and within 30 days after the contract is made, unless an applicable legal exception applies.
Delivery estimates are provided in good faith and are not guaranteed dates unless a specific date has been expressly agreed.
If we become aware of a material delay, we will contact you with updated information.
Customers retain their rights under applicable UK consumer law where delivery is delayed or does not take place within the agreed period.
5. STOCK AVAILABILITY
We take reasonable steps to maintain accurate product availability information.
Stock levels and manufacturing schedules may change before an order is accepted.
Placing an order does not guarantee availability until the order has been accepted.
If a product becomes unavailable, discontinued or subject to an unexpected delay, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.
Depending on the circumstances, we may offer:
-
A revised delivery estimate.
-
A suitable alternative product.
-
Cancellation of the affected item and a refund.
Customers are not obliged to accept a substitute product.
6. DIRECT DISPATCH & SEPARATE DELIVERIES
Some products may be dispatched directly from a manufacturing, warehousing or distribution facility.
Verdant Lounge UK remains your point of contact for delivery enquiries and order-related issues.
Orders containing multiple products may arrive separately and on different dates.
Where separate deliveries are necessary, no additional delivery charge will be imposed unless it was disclosed and agreed before purchase.
7. DELIVERY SERVICES
Depending on the product, delivery may be carried out by a parcel courier, specialist furniture carrier or pallet delivery service.
Available delivery arrangements may include:
-
Tracked parcel delivery.
-
Kerbside delivery.
-
Pallet delivery.
-
One-person delivery.
-
Two-person delivery.
-
Specialist delivery for large or heavy outdoor products.
-
Delivery by appointment.
Only the delivery service expressly stated in the product information or order confirmation is included.
Unless specifically stated, delivery does not include assembly, installation, moving products beyond the agreed unloading point, removal of existing structures or furniture, or disposal of packaging.
8. LARGE, HEAVY & PALLETISED PRODUCTS
Garden buildings, pergolas, saunas, ice baths, outdoor kitchens and large furniture sets may require specialist delivery arrangements.
Where delivery is described as kerbside or pallet delivery, goods will normally be delivered to the nearest safe and accessible unloading point at the delivery address.
Customers may be responsible for moving the goods from the unloading point to their intended location.
Customers must ensure that suitable assistance, equipment and access are available where required.
Delivery personnel are not obliged to move goods through unsafe, restricted or unsuitable access points or to perform services not included in the agreed delivery arrangements.
9. DELIVERY ACCESS & SITE REQUIREMENTS
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address and intended outdoor location are suitable for the ordered products.
Before ordering, customers must check:
-
The dimensions and weight of the product.
-
Access roads and vehicle restrictions.
-
Gates, garden pathways and entrances.
-
Narrow passages, steps, slopes and uneven ground.
-
Parking, unloading and vehicle turning areas.
-
Any restrictions affecting delivery vehicles or lifting equipment.
-
The suitability of the intended outdoor location.
-
Any necessary foundations or site preparation.
Customers must disclose known access restrictions before delivery is arranged.
We reserve the right to decline an unsafe delivery method or require an alternative arrangement where reasonably necessary.
Where a delivery fails because of inaccurate information, undisclosed restrictions or unsuitable customer-controlled access, reasonable additional charges may apply where legally recoverable.
10. DELIVERY APPOINTMENTS
Where an appointment is required, the delivery carrier may contact you directly using the telephone number or email address supplied with your order.
Customers must ensure that their contact details are accurate and that they respond promptly to reasonable delivery-arrangement requests.
Delivery windows are estimates and may be affected by traffic, weather, transport conditions or operational disruption.
Where a specific delivery date has been expressly agreed, applicable contractual and statutory rights will apply.
11. RECEIVING YOUR DELIVERY
An adult must be available to receive the order where an attended delivery or signature is required.
Customers should check the number of packages received and inspect the visible condition of the goods and packaging promptly.
If packaging appears damaged, customers should record this with the delivery driver where practicable and take clear photographs.
All original packaging, protective materials and supplied components must be retained until the customer is satisfied with the purchase.
Packaging should not be discarded before the goods have been inspected and all relevant components checked.
12. DELIVERY INSPECTION & DAMAGE REPORTING
Customers must inspect their delivery promptly and report any visible damage, broken items, missing components or delivery discrepancies to Verdant Lounge UK within 24 hours of delivery.
Reports must be submitted to contact@verdantlounge.co.uk.
Please provide:
-
Your order number and delivery date.
-
A description of the damage or discrepancy.
-
Clear photographs of the affected goods.
-
Photographs of the outer and inner packaging.
-
Photographs of the delivery labels.
-
Details of any missing or incorrect components.
Customers must retain the affected goods, original packaging, protective materials and relevant delivery documentation until further instructions are provided, unless disposal is necessary for safety.
Where practicable, visible damage should be recorded with the delivery carrier.
Late notification may affect the availability of evidence and our ability to investigate delivery-related issues.
The 24-hour reporting requirement does not restrict statutory consumer rights relating to faulty, damaged, incomplete or incorrectly supplied goods.
For further information, please refer to our Returns & Refunds Policy.
13. FAILED DELIVERIES & ADDITIONAL CHARGES
A delivery may be unsuccessful where:
-
Nobody is available to receive an agreed attended delivery.
-
Incorrect or incomplete delivery information has been supplied.
-
The customer does not respond to reasonable attempts to arrange delivery.
-
Access is unsafe, unsuitable or materially different from the information provided.
-
Required unloading arrangements are not available.
-
The customer refuses a correctly supplied delivery without lawful reason.
Where a failed delivery is attributable to the customer, reasonable additional redelivery, storage, handling or transport charges may apply, provided they are legally recoverable.
We will inform customers of applicable charges before arranging further delivery wherever reasonably practicable.
Charges will not be imposed where the failure is attributable to Verdant Lounge UK or where doing so would conflict with statutory rights.
14. CHANGING YOUR DELIVERY ADDRESS
Please contact us immediately if you need to change your delivery address.
We cannot guarantee that an address can be amended once an order has entered processing or dispatch.
Address changes may require additional verification for security purposes.
Reasonable additional transport charges may apply where an address change is requested after delivery arrangements have been made, provided the charges are disclosed and legally recoverable.
15. TRACKING & DELIVERY UPDATES
Tracking information will be provided where available.
Some specialist, pallet and large-item deliveries are arranged directly by telephone or email and may not offer conventional online tracking.
Customers should monitor their email inbox, spam folder and telephone messages for delivery communications.
16. DELIVERY DELAYS & EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL
Delivery may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, transport disruption, manufacturing delays, industrial action, infrastructure failures or other unforeseen events.
We will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption and communicate significant delays.
Where delivery is materially delayed or cannot be completed within the agreed period, customers retain all applicable statutory rights.
Nothing in this policy excludes or restricts those rights.
17. RISK & OWNERSHIP
Responsibility for the goods passes to the customer when they are delivered into the customer's physical possession or into the physical possession of a person identified by the customer to receive them.
Where the customer independently arranges a carrier not offered by Verdant Lounge UK, different statutory risk-transfer rules may apply.
Ownership passes to the customer once full payment has been received.
18. RETURNS & COLLECTIONS
Delivery arrangements and return arrangements are separate.
Large, heavy or specialist-delivered products may require professional return collection.
For eligible change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for direct return costs where permitted by law and where the required information was disclosed before purchase.
Estimated specialist return collection costs are £800–£2,000, depending on product dimensions, weight, number of pallets, collection location, access and transport requirements.
Actual costs may vary according to the collection requirements and will be confirmed before collection is arranged.
Return arrangements, packaging requirements, cancellation exclusions and refund procedures are explained in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Our registered office is not a returns address.
Where goods are faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, return and collection costs will be handled in accordance with statutory consumer rights.
