Our registered office is not a showroom, customer-service location or returns address.

Please read these Terms carefully before placing an order. By placing an order, you agree to the Terms applicable to that purchase.

These Terms should be read alongside our:

  • Returns & Refunds Policy

  • Shipping & Delivery Policy

  • Privacy Policy

  • Product-specific specifications, notices and delivery information displayed before purchase

Where applicable, product-specific information forms part of the contract.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts your statutory consumer rights.

1. USING OUR WEBSITE

You may use our website only for lawful purposes.

You must not:

  • Use the website fraudulently or unlawfully.

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, accounts or systems.

  • Introduce viruses, malicious code or other harmful technology.

  • Interfere with the website's security or operation.

  • Copy, scrape or commercially exploit protected website content without authorisation.

  • Impersonate another person or provide deliberately false information.

  • Place orders using a payment method you are not authorised to use.

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect customers, our website or our business.

2. ELIGIBILITY TO ORDER

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract to place an order.

You must provide accurate and complete contact, billing and delivery information.

You are responsible for checking the information supplied before completing your order and informing us promptly if any correction is required.

3. PRODUCTS & SPECIFICATIONS

Verdant Lounge UK supplies premium outdoor-living products, including garden buildings, pergolas, saunas, ice baths, outdoor kitchens, garden furniture and associated accessories.

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, images and prices are accurate.

Product images are illustrative. Colours and finishes may appear differently depending on lighting, photography and individual screen settings.

Products made from natural or handcrafted materials, including timber, stone, ceramic, metal, rattan and woven materials, may display natural variations in grain, texture, shade, finish, pattern and markings.

Minor manufacturing tolerances may also occur.

Such characteristics are not necessarily defects, provided the goods remain as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for their intended purpose.

Customers must carefully check all product specifications before ordering, including dimensions, configurations, materials, finishes, optional extras and installation requirements.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, products are intended for normal domestic use. Commercial use or use contrary to supplied instructions may affect applicable commercial warranties, but does not remove statutory rights.

4. MADE-TO-ORDER & BESPOKE PRODUCTS

Certain products are manufactured, configured or customised to individual customer specifications.

Products made to the customer's individual specifications or clearly personalised cannot be cancelled, exchanged or returned due to a change of mind once the order has been accepted.

This restriction applies to qualifying bespoke goods, including products manufactured to individually agreed dimensions, designs, configurations, finishes or structural specifications.

Customers are responsible for carefully checking and approving all relevant details before placing an order.

Once a qualifying bespoke order has been accepted, it is final for change-of-mind purposes.

Manufacturing, material allocation and fulfilment arrangements may begin following acceptance.

Any subsequent amendment or voluntary cancellation is at the sole discretion of Verdant Lounge UK and must be agreed in writing.

Where the bespoke cancellation exception applies, this will be identified before purchase.

A product is not excluded from statutory cancellation rights merely because it is ordered from a supplier or manufactured after an order is placed.

Nothing in this section affects statutory rights where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described.

5. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

Product availability may depend on manufacturing schedules, stock availability and fulfilment arrangements.

We make reasonable efforts to keep availability information accurate, but availability may change before an order is accepted.

If a product becomes unavailable, discontinued or subject to a significant delay, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

Where appropriate, we may offer a revised delivery estimate, a suitable alternative or cancellation of the affected item with a refund.

You are not obliged to accept a substitute product.

6. PRICES

All prices are displayed in pounds sterling unless otherwise stated.

Applicable taxes and delivery charges will be included in or clearly identified alongside the total price before checkout.

Delivery charges may vary according to the product, destination, delivery method and specialist handling requirements.

We may change prices at any time. Changes will not affect an order already accepted, except where permitted by applicable law.

7. PRICING & PRODUCT INFORMATION ERRORS

We take reasonable care to ensure that product information and prices are correct.

If we identify an obvious pricing or product-information error before accepting an order, we may contact you with the correct details and offer the opportunity to proceed or cancel.

We are not obliged to accept an order at a price that a reasonable customer should have recognised as an obvious mistake.

Where an error is discovered after a contract has been formed, the matter will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

8. PLACING AN ORDER & CONTRACT FORMATION

By submitting an order, you make an offer to purchase the selected products under these Terms.

After placing an order, you will normally receive an automated acknowledgement confirming that we have received it.

An order acknowledgement does not necessarily constitute acceptance of the order.

A contract is formed when Verdant Lounge UK expressly confirms acceptance or dispatches the goods, whichever occurs first.

For qualifying bespoke products, any applicable change-of-mind cancellation restriction takes effect upon acceptance of the order.

We may decline an order before acceptance where reasonably necessary, including where:

  • A product is unavailable.

  • Payment cannot be authorised.

  • Delivery to the requested address is unavailable.

  • There is an obvious pricing or product-information error.

  • We reasonably suspect fraud or unlawful activity.

  • The order breaches an applicable purchasing restriction.

If payment has been collected for an order we do not accept, the amount paid will be refunded.

9. PAYMENT

Available payment methods are displayed at checkout.

By placing an order, you confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.

Payment may be authorised or collected when the order is placed, depending on the payment provider.

Transactions may be subject to authentication, fraud-prevention checks and processing requirements imposed by the relevant payment provider.

10. PROMOTIONS & DISCOUNT CODES

Promotions and discount codes may be subject to additional conditions, including validity dates, qualifying products, minimum purchase amounts and usage restrictions.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Only one discount code may be used per order.

  • Discount codes cannot be exchanged for cash.

  • Discounts cannot be applied retrospectively.

  • Promotions may be withdrawn before an order is accepted.

Promotional conditions do not affect statutory consumer rights.

11. DELIVERY

Delivery timescales vary depending on the product, stock availability, manufacturing requirements and delivery location.

Certain products are available for earlier dispatch, while made-to-order, bespoke and specialist products may have longer lead times, typically 6–8 weeks or as otherwise specified on the relevant product page.

The estimated delivery timeframe applicable to each product will be communicated before purchase and forms part of the agreed delivery arrangements.

Delivery estimates are provided in good faith and may be affected by manufacturing schedules, availability, transportation and circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where a specific delivery date has been expressly agreed, we will endeavour to fulfil delivery accordingly and will notify customers of any material changes.

If a delivery is delayed, customers will retain their rights under applicable UK consumer law.

For further information, please refer to our Shipping & Delivery Policy.

12. DELIVERY ACCESS & CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

Customers are responsible for ensuring that suitable access is available for delivery of the ordered products.

Before ordering, customers must check:

  • Product dimensions and intended placement.

  • Gates, pathways, entrances and doorways.

  • Steps, slopes, turning areas and other access restrictions.

  • Any restrictions affecting delivery vehicles or unloading equipment.

  • Suitable foundations or prepared installation areas where required.

Customers must disclose relevant access restrictions before delivery.

Delivery services include only those services expressly stated in the order or product information.

Unless specifically included, delivery does not include assembly, installation, removal of existing structures or disposal of packaging.

Where an agreed delivery cannot be completed because of inaccurate customer information, undisclosed access restrictions or an unjustified failure to accept delivery, reasonable additional delivery, storage or redelivery costs may apply where properly disclosed and legally recoverable.

Such charges will not apply where the failure is attributable to Verdant Lounge UK or where charging would conflict with statutory rights.

13. RISK & OWNERSHIP

Responsibility for goods passes to the customer when they are delivered into the customer's physical possession or into the physical possession of a person identified by the customer to receive them.

Where the customer independently arranges a carrier not offered by Verdant Lounge UK, different statutory risk-transfer rules may apply.

Ownership of the goods passes to the customer once full payment has been received.

14. CANCELLING AN ORDER

For goods eligible for statutory cancellation, customers may cancel within 14 days after the day they receive the goods, without giving a reason.

Where an order is delivered in separate consignments or components, the applicable period runs from receipt of the final delivery.

Customers must notify us of their decision to cancel within the applicable period.

Following cancellation, goods must be returned within a further 14 days unless we have offered to collect them.

Goods manufactured to the customer's individual specifications or clearly personalised cannot be cancelled or returned due to a change of mind once the order has been accepted.

Customers must check all bespoke specifications before confirming their order.

Any voluntary cancellation or amendment outside statutory rights is subject to our written agreement.

Full cancellation procedures and applicable restrictions are set out in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Nothing in this section affects statutory rights relating to faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods.

15. RETURNS, ORIGINAL PACKAGING & SPECIALIST COLLECTION

Customers must contact Verdant Lounge UK before arranging a return.

All change-of-mind returns must be unused, complete and returned in their original packaging, including protective materials, accessories, fittings and instructions, subject to applicable statutory cancellation rights.

Customers must retain the original packaging and protective materials until they are satisfied with their purchase.

Where statutory cancellation rights apply, customers may reasonably inspect goods, and missing original packaging alone does not invalidate those rights.

However, we may make deductions permitted by law for diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect the goods.

For discretionary returns outside statutory cancellation rights, unused condition and intact original packaging are mandatory unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Customers are responsible for the direct cost of eligible change-of-mind returns where permitted by law and where the required return-cost information was provided before purchase.

Large or specialist-delivered products may require professional return collection, with estimated specialist transport costs of £800–£2,000.

The cost depends on the product's dimensions and weight, number of pallets, collection postcode, access requirements and prevailing transport charges.

Actual costs may differ where collection circumstances fall outside those covered by the estimate.

Where we arrange collection, the applicable charge will be confirmed before booking and may be deducted from the refund where legally permitted.

Return costs for smaller products will depend on the relevant delivery method and applicable pre-purchase return-cost information.

Customers must ensure that goods are appropriately packaged and ready for collection.

Our registered office is not a returns address.

Please refer to our Returns & Refunds Policy for full return conditions and instructions.

16. REFUNDS

Refunds are processed in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy and applicable UK consumer law.

For qualifying bespoke products, accepted orders are non-refundable for change-of-mind reasons.

For valid statutory cancellations of other products, refunds will include the price paid for the cancelled goods and any original standard delivery charge required to be refunded by law.

Additional amounts paid for premium or upgraded delivery services are not refundable beyond the applicable standard delivery charge.

Customers are responsible for eligible change-of-mind return costs where legally permitted.

Where we have not offered collection, we may withhold reimbursement until we receive the goods or acceptable evidence of their return, whichever occurs first.

Refunds will be processed without undue delay and within applicable statutory time limits.

Any lawful deduction for diminished value will be explained.

Refunds will normally be issued to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

17. DELIVERY INSPECTION & DAMAGE REPORTING

Customers must inspect their delivery promptly and report any visible damage, broken items, missing components or delivery discrepancies to Verdant Lounge UK within 24 hours of delivery.

Reports must be submitted to contact@verdantlounge.co.uk.

Customers should provide:

  • Their order number and delivery date.

  • A description of the damage or discrepancy.

  • Clear photographs of the affected goods.

  • Photographs of the packaging and delivery labels.

  • Details of any missing or incorrect components.

Customers must retain all original packaging, protective materials, affected goods and relevant delivery documentation until further instructions are provided, unless disposal is necessary for safety.

Visible damage should be recorded with the delivery carrier where practicable.

Late notification may affect the availability of evidence and our ability to investigate delivery-related issues.

The 24-hour reporting requirement does not restrict statutory consumer rights.

18. DAMAGED, FAULTY OR INCORRECT GOODS

If goods are faulty, damaged, incomplete, incorrectly supplied or not as described, please contact us promptly.

We may request photographs, product information or a reasonable inspection to assess the issue.

Where goods do not conform to the contract, Verdant Lounge UK will provide the remedy required under applicable UK consumer law.

Depending on the circumstances, this may include repair, replacement, a price reduction or refund.

Where we are legally responsible for return or collection costs, we will cover the reasonable associated costs.

Damage caused solely by misuse, accidental damage after delivery, neglect, improper maintenance or unauthorised modifications is not automatically a product defect.

This does not affect rights arising from defects or failures for which Verdant Lounge UK is legally responsible.

19. ASSEMBLY, INSTALLATION & SITE PREPARATION

Certain products require suitable foundations, ground preparation, specialist assembly, professional installation or utility connections.

Unless expressly included in the order, these arrangements are the customer's responsibility.

Customers must ensure that the intended installation area is suitable and properly prepared.

All products must be assembled, installed and operated in accordance with the supplied instructions.

If damage, missing components or a suspected defect is identified during installation, customers should stop the affected work where continuing may cause damage or create a safety risk and contact us promptly.

Where installation or other services are purchased from Verdant Lounge UK, applicable statutory cancellation provisions for services will apply.

Any charge for services started during a statutory cancellation period is subject to the necessary customer consent, pre-contract information and applicable law.

20. PRODUCT CARE, MAINTENANCE & WEATHER PROTECTION

Outdoor products require appropriate care and maintenance.

Customers must follow supplied instructions relating to assembly, operation, cleaning, treatment, storage, protective covers and weather exposure.

The description of a product as suitable for outdoor use does not necessarily mean that every component can remain exposed to all weather conditions throughout the year.

Cushions, textiles and vulnerable components should be stored or protected in accordance with the relevant product instructions.

Damage resulting solely from misuse, neglect, unsuitable storage, unauthorised alterations or failure to follow reasonable maintenance instructions may not constitute a product fault.

This does not affect statutory rights where a product is inherently defective or where its description or instructions are inadequate.

21. PRODUCT WARRANTIES

Selected products are supplied with additional commercial warranties.

Warranty coverage, duration and conditions vary according to the product and will be stated in the relevant product information or warranty documentation.

Customers must comply with applicable care, maintenance, assembly and operating instructions.

Commercial warranties may exclude damage caused by misuse, neglect, improper maintenance or unauthorised modifications, subject to their terms and applicable law.

Commercial warranties are additional to statutory consumer rights and do not replace them.

22. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Our website may use or link to services provided by third parties, including payment providers, review platforms, delivery carriers and social-media platforms.

These third parties may operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for independent third-party websites outside our control.

Nothing in this section removes our responsibility for services forming part of our contract with you.

23. REVIEWS & CUSTOMER CONTENT

If you submit a review, photograph, question or other content to our website, you confirm that:

  • It reflects your genuine experience.

  • It is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

  • You have the necessary rights to submit it.

  • It does not infringe another person's rights.

  • It is not unlawful, abusive, threatening or misleading.

  • It does not unnecessarily disclose personal or confidential information.

We may moderate or remove content where reasonably necessary, but will not suppress genuine reviews merely because they are negative.

By submitting content, you grant Verdant Lounge UK a non-exclusive permission to display and reproduce it for operating and promoting our business, subject to applicable law and privacy rights.

24. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Verdant Lounge UK website and its content, including branding, original text, graphics, layouts and design elements, are owned by or licensed to RPV E-COMMERS LTD.

Product names, trademarks, descriptions and images may belong to their respective rights holders.

Website content may not be reproduced, distributed, modified or commercially exploited without appropriate permission, except where permitted by law.

25. PERSONAL INFORMATION

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information when placing orders or contacting us.

26. OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO YOU

We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of contract or failure to exercise reasonable care and skill.

We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed, subject to applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence.

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

  • Breach of statutory consumer rights relating to goods or services.

  • Any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Products purchased through our consumer website are supplied for domestic and private use unless expressly agreed otherwise.

We are not responsible for business losses arising from consumer purchases, including loss of profit, revenue or commercial opportunity, where such exclusion is lawful.

27. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR REASONABLE CONTROL

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, to the extent permitted by law.

Such events may include severe weather, transport disruption, manufacturing interruption, industrial action, infrastructure failure or other unforeseen circumstances.

We will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption and communicate significant changes.

Where a delay becomes substantial or performance is no longer possible, customers may have statutory rights to cancel and obtain a refund.

28. COMPLAINTS

If you have a complaint, please contact:

contact@verdantlounge.co.uk

Please provide your order number and sufficient details for us to investigate.

We aim to acknowledge complaints promptly and provide a substantive response within a reasonable period.

29. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our business, services or legal requirements.

The Terms applicable to an accepted order will normally be those in effect when the contract was formed, unless a change is required by law or validly agreed.

The latest version will be published on our website with its revision date.

30. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

31. NO WAIVER

If we delay or choose not to enforce a contractual right on one occasion, this does not mean that the right has been waived for future occasions.

32. TRANSFER OF RIGHTS

Customers may not transfer their contractual rights or obligations without our written agreement, except where permitted by law.

We may transfer our rights or obligations to another organisation where this does not reduce the customer's legal protections.

We will provide notice where required.

33. THIRD-PARTY RIGHTS

A person who is not a party to the contract will not normally have rights to enforce these Terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

34. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and contracts between customers and Verdant Lounge UK are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Customers residing elsewhere in the United Kingdom may also benefit from applicable mandatory consumer protections and rights to bring proceedings in the courts of their place of residence.
